Meet Doctor Jennifer Huffman DDS, D.ABDSM
Dr. Jen Huffman has practiced dentistry for 30 years. She first trained with The Breathe Institute in 2018 and returns for training at least every two years to stay current with best practices. She is a Breathe Ambassador and a Fellow in The American Laser Study Club, where she recently presented her research on the efficacy of non-ablative laser treatment for an elongated soft palate — laser dentistry is a particular passion of hers, and she folds those advancements directly into patient care.
Dr. Huffman is a Myobrace provider and offers myofunctional therapy with a therapist extensively trained by both The Breathe Institute and Myo Circle. Virtual and in-person sessions are available to provide patients with accessible care. She completed a mini-residency in dental sleep medicine at Tufts University in Boston, earning her Diplomate designation from the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and is Vivos trained. A founding member of the Airway Sleep and Pediatrics Pathway study club and Airway Circle, Dr. Huffman also serves as a liaison for the American Academy of Physiological Medicine and Dentistry. She graduated from Chrysalis Orofacial and is a qualified TOTS-trained professional as well as a graduate from the Academy at Alabama Tongue Tie Center.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including a provider for Tongue Tie Life, the International Affiliation of Tongue Tie Professionals, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, and the International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She provides Invisalign, Candid and interceptive orthodontic appliances for improved airway health.

Dr. Jen believes in a collaborative team approach, surrounding herself with highly trained professionals for education, mentorship, and guidance. Her heart is with treating infants and children, but she welcomes patients of all ages.
